Hi, I'm Dorothy.

I'm a photographer in Asheville, NC.

I went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC, where I met my husband. We lived there for eleven years, and I had some amazing jobs during that time. I dressed actors on Broadway and I also designed and built sets and props for films. After having kids, we decided to move down South and I switched my focus to photography as my creative outlet.

As a mother of two kids that are growing up way too fast, I cherish photos of them. My favorite images aren't the pictures where they are posing and being told to smile, but rather the candid ones. I love seeing their personalities and capturing real moments of them being kids, and I'm so grateful that I get to do this for other families, too!
